Joanna McLay is a Chartered Physiotherapist who has been working in the NHS and privately since she qualified from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.  During this time she has worked in specialist clinical wards, in and out patients and in the community.  She has a huge amount of experience in the diagnosis, treatment and maintenance of a wide variety of conditions.  Her primary treatment approaches include ultrasound, acupuncture and mobilisations and exercises. Joanna is passionate about ensuring that people can achieve their potential no matter what health issues they experience and brings a calm and pragmatic approach in helping people achieve their outcomes.

We are physiotherapy and soft tissue treatment specialists with over 25 years of experience providing positive outcomes for a wide range of conditions. We offer rehabilitation, maintenance and preventative treatments aimed at allowing you to maximise your potential and reach your goals – whatever they may be.

We believe that during treatment, the patient should be educated by their therapist in order to be able to maintain maximum flexibility and pain-free living long after our work ends.

Our therapists have successfully worked with all types of injuries and we work on patients of any age. We have personal interests and experience in sports and athletic activity, including running, cycling and mountain sports and much of our professional work has been in post-surgical and disease recovery and rehabilitation.  Please see our services page for more information.

We'll help heal your body.
